SRI Activation Technology has made High Recovery Devulcanization economically viable. The resultant value added compounds (SRI Compound Masterbatch) are being tested in the most challenging applications from general rubber goods through to Automotive Components and Production Light Truck Tires. The proportions of recyled tire material are substantial even in the most challenging and performance demanding applications, rewriting the rules of what is now possible with recycled content both in terms of its chemistry and the bottom line of rubber product manufacturers. All this with a low energy and low carbon footprint.

While its commercial significance to the industry is hard to ignore as important if not more is the fact that with the SRI Activation Technology and SRI Compound Masterbatch you actually have a total end to end, closed loop solution for global scrap tires. SRI Activation Technology is low cost, high volume, low energy and non toxic. 100% of the scrap tires processed are consumed and utilized in a value added, environmentally responsible and efficient manner. No part of the process calls for the burning of by-product for fuel, there are no toxic substances to be scrubbed or disposed off nor discharges of any kind. There will be 3 products, Compound, treated fibre and metal, all of which the SRI process provides for in applications that call for viable returns in non polluting, environmentally responsible manner.
