With regards to companies producing our raw material, crumb rubber from whole tires, we are interested know of established, high volume, quality producers of 40 mesh crumb rubber from every region of the world. Please be prepared to send us a representative 4 kilogram sample. We’ll also want to know if you have quality control over the sorting of tires prior to 1st stage shredding. If your company is interested in tire recycling but is still in the planning stages, we would refer you to three global companies SRI has certified as capable of providing a complete plant, from shredding of tires to cleaning system. These companies, CM Tire Recycling, Eldan Recycling and Granutech are capable of providing a plant that can produce to our spec. We’ve met with each, toured several of their plants and tested their crumb with SRI Activation. We can say with confidence that any one of these three companies can serve you globally and are considered to be some of the best in their business. There are many other companies that can also provide you a partial or full crumbing plant. We would like to know of additional crumbing plant manufacturers that have large capacity 40 mesh plants in operation in excess of 24 months that we might visit in Asia, Europe or North America.
